Guy's methods have helped him to build a relationship with his horses allowing him to entertain, bridleless and saddleless all over the country, indoors and out, with stallions, mares and geldings, chestnuts, browns, buckskins and bays.

When it comes to building a better relationship with your horse to gain the trust and respect required, to ride and handle your horse safely and confidently, the type, breed or colour of your horses and whether you are a man or a woman makes no difference.

Come and learn how Guy has achieved his lifetime dream to be the best horseman he can be and without the use of force.

The methods Guy will show you in this clinic are exactly the methods he uses to start his 2 year olds and work with his performance horses.

Normally our 2 day clinic will begin at 8am on Saturday and Sunday mornings and finish at about 5pm.  The clinic is split into two groups with each group having two hours in the morning and in the afternoon. This will be very flexible depending on horses, riders and the weather.

Due to the amount of information to take in at Guy's Horsemanship Clinics participants must be able to walk, trot and canter confidently and be 15 years or older.

We begin with ground work using a halter (rope preferably without a metal buckle) and about a 12 foot lead. During this morning session we make sure we are able to send our horses in both directions with good hip and shoulder control and a lot of bend.

By the afternoon we are starting to use our imagination (a very important tool in horsemanship). We start to simulate potential "hazards" by introducing a tarp. We finish the day riding in our 1 rein halters!

Day 2. We begin by refreshing and making sure horse and rider remember everything from the huge first day and refine things a little. Then, into the saddle with our 1 rein again to build that relationship and see what you can get done without the bit.

The more you put into this clinic the more you will get out. Guy is not here to tell you what to do but rather to help plant a seed so you can be the best horsewoman/man you can be! See You There.

Thank You
